The primary objective of the African CDMA Forum is to lead the rapid evolution and deployment of 3G CDMA-based systems, based on open standards and encompassing all core architectures, to meet the needs of markets in greater Africa . The African CDMA Forum is an affiliate of the CDMA Development Group, the CDG. Members of the ACF become affiliate members of the CDG with full access. Members of the forum share business and technology information and resources between and by CDMA operators, broadcasters, manufacturers, software companies, government, academia and the users in Africa .
