According to the company, the new offering provides connectivity at theoretical download speeds up to 7.2Mbps via its 3G networks. This service makes getting online so very simple and hassle-free. No matter which of the 1,190 islands of the Maldives you are on, just plug in your W Modem and instantly get connected…Wataniya Broadband gives you the freedom to browse whenever and wherever you please, commented the companys CCO, Stephen Smith. Subscribers are able to choose between two different tariff plans: Broadband Explore is designed for occasional broadband users and costs MVR250 (USD19.81) a month, while Broadband Extreme is for frequent internet users and offers higher transmission speeds at a monthly fee of MVR590.
